The position is primarily remote, enabling our social workers to design a flexible work schedule that aligns with their caseload. • Provide psychotherapy to individuals facing mental health challenges related to substance abuse, employing a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans that encompass evidence-based methodologies tailored to promote recovery.
• Collaborate closely with a dedicated treatment team to deliver coordinated care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s health and recovery are addressed.
• Regularly update and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Educate patients and their families on various mental health and substance use resources, enhancing their understanding and engagement in the recovery process.
• Stay informed on current research and best practices within the field of substance abuse and mental health, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice effectively.
• Manage a robust caseload while maintaining a focus on ethical standards and treatment goals.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse group of patients, including adults and adolescents struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Our team is particularly focused on fostering an understanding of each patient’s unique circumstances, allowing us to tailor interventions that resonate with their individual needs for effective recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Colorado is a must.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience specifically in substance abuse therapy, demonstrating a solid grasp of treatment strategies and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of solution-based intervention strategies designed to facilitate recovery.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within our treatment team.

Though not mandatory, candidates with additional certifications in substance abuse counseling or related fields will be given preference. Experience in a remote work environment using digital platforms for teletherapy is highly advantageous, given our current operational model.
