Job Summary:
SiriusXM is a leading audio entertainment company that delivers compelling subscription and ad-supported audio experiences. They are seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to lead multi-year initiatives, influence engineering strategy, and provide clarity in complex environments.
Responsibilities:
• Own delivery of mission-critical, multi-year programs spanning multiple engineering organizations and technical domains
• Define program strategy and execution, partnering closely with senior product and engineering leadership
• Lead initiatives in highly ambiguous environments, establishing clarity, structure, and execution models
• Anticipate, surface, and resolve systemic, cross-organizational risks and dependencies
• Define and institutionalize org-wide program management frameworks, operating rhythms, and governance models
• Remove structural blockers that impede execution across teams and domains
• Shape architectural conversations by applying deep technical understanding to sequencing, trade-offs, and long-term platform implications
• Drive executive-level communication, crafting concise, decision-ready narratives and scenario-based options
• Mentor and coach Staff and Senior TPMs, raising the bar for execution excellence across the organization
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Directors and VPs on delivery health, risk posture, and prioritization
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years (or equivalent impact) leading complex, cross-organizational technical programs
• Proven experience delivering and maintaining software at scale to millions of active users
• Strong architectural literacy across multiple systems and platforms
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
• Experience defining execution frameworks and operating rhythms at organizational scale
• Exceptional communication skills, including executive-level storytelling and decision framing
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
