Job description

Reuters News is seeking a motivated and analytically minded Summer Intern to join our Subscription Marketing team. This internship is a great opportunity for someone interested in growth marketing and subscription strategy within a global news organization.
The intern will support the team in managing paid app install campaigns, analyzing performance trends, identifying opportunities for testing and optimization, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve reporting and marketing effectiveness. This role is ideal for a candidate who is curious, data-savvy, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
In the role of Subscription Marketing Intern, you will:
  • Support the day-to-day management of paid app install campaigns, including campaign optimizations, keyword testing, bid and budget adjustments, and launches in new markets
  • Pull, analyze, and summarize campaign results to identify and communicate performance trends, insights, and opportunities
  • Help identify areas for testing to improve efficiency, performance, and growth
  • Provide general day-to-day support to the Subscription Marketing team across key strategic priorities and ongoing initiatives
  • Partner with the Data Analytics team to help scope new tactics, build dashboards, and improve reporting frameworks
  • Assist in organizing and communicating findings, test results, and recommendations to stakeholders

About You
You are a fit for the role of Subscription Marketing Intern if you have:
  • Interest in or prior exposure to growth marketing, performance marketing, subscription marketing, or digital marketing
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to inform decisions
  • Interest in tracking and interpreting performance metrics to influence strategy
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools, platforms, and processes
  • Proactive mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear communicator who works well collaboratively across teams
  • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a variety of team needs

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coursework, internship, or project experience related to marketing, business, analytics, communications, economics, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Excel and an interest in dashboards, reporting, or marketing analytics
  • Experience with or curiosity about mobile marketing, app campaigns, paid media, or subscription businesses
