Our client seeks a Legal Secretary/Assistant/Paralegal - Personal Injury/Workers Compensation to join their growing team.

The Legal Secretary/Assistant/Paralegal - Personal Injury/Workers Compensation position is a full-time, direct hire position where you will earn up to $62,000 per year based on your experience. You will work Monday – Friday 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm, 100% onsite. Plus, enjoy an excellent benefits package.

As Legal Secretary/Assistant/Paralegal - Workers Compensation/Workers Compensation, you will be responsible for supporting attorneys by assisting with case management. In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling trials, hearings, depositions, mediations and more
  • Drafting and filing legal documents
  • Coordinating document signing
  • Managing attorneys’ schedules, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Handling client calls
  • Ensuring files are ready for every step of the pre-litigation and litigation process
  • Collecting medical records, bills and subrogation liens
  • Coordinating medical expert conferences and IMEs
  • Conducting investigative work
  • Auditing case files to ensure readiness for settlement/trial/hearing
  • Tracking legal expenses and assisting with paying case-related costs
  • Reviewing case data to ensure timely action on all files
  • Monitoring case progression
  • Assisting with case intake
  • Supporting attorneys and leadership in marketing efforts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

To be considered for this Legal Secretary/Assistant/Paralegal - Personal Injury/Workers Compensation opportunity, you must have prior legal or law firm experience. In addition, you must have:

  • Experience in Personal Injury or Workers Compensation
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Paralegal certificate preferred
