Charlotte Mechanical is a well-respected mechanical contractor in the Charlotte area. We are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a Plumbing Crew Leader to join our Raleigh, NC team. This position is ideal for a motivated leader who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and team development.

Requirements:

The Plumbing Crew Leader helps manage multi-family plumbing construction crews by planning, organizing, and controlling projects; supervising employees and subcontractors; completing quality inspections; and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate job expectations and provide direction to crew members
  • Plan, monitor, and evaluate job performance and productivity
  • Contribute construction data and feedback to strategic planning and project reviews
  • Implement and maintain production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards
  • Identify and resolve project issues; recommend improvements to construction management systems
  • Define project scope, purpose, and resource requirements
  • Schedule and coordinate crews and subcontractors
  • Establish jobsite standards and protocols
  • Resolve design issues and evaluate and implement change orders
  • Conduct inspections at critical phases to approve work quality
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national plumbing and safety codes
  • Enforce safety standards to maintain a secure and healthy work environment
  • Stay current with emerging construction practices and industry standards
  • Participate in training, educational opportunities, and professional development
