Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking aย Subcontracts Administratorย to support ourย Huntsville, ALย location.

Duties:

  • Lead cradle-to-grave subcontract administration activities supporting DoD and Federal Government programs.
  • Develop, negotiate, award, administer, and close out subcontracts in accordance with company policies and Government regulations.
  • Prepare solicitation packages, evaluate supplier proposals, conduct cost and price analyses, and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions.
  • Administer various subcontract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Reimbursement, Time & Materials (T&M), and IDIQ agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, customer requirements, and subcontract flowdown obligations.
  • Support proposal and capture efforts through supplier engagement, pricing support, and subcontract strategy development.
  • Support CPSRs, DCMA/DCAA audits, and other compliance reviews.
  • Serve as the primary interface between subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5-12 years of experience in Government subcontract administration.
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and Government procurement practices.
  • Experience negotiating and administering subcontract agreements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Travel: Minimal.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Contracts Management, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Desired Skills:

  • CPSR experience.
  • Experience supporting DoD programs.
  • DCMA and DCAA audit experience.
  • JAMIS and SharePoint experience.
  • NCMA certification preferred.
