The Onsite Shift Supervisor is responsible to supervise, coordinate, and support the daily operations and ensure safe and efficient operation of onsite by-product management system/set-up at the facility; assist with the development and implementation of solutions with processes and logistics for onsite waste and recycling processes; maintain effective and professional daily interaction with client associates and their daily service requests; other projects as designated by Program Manager to ensure close client relationships (including management).
Essential Functions

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Will report to the Onsite Program Manager. Works closely with other personnel to ensure proper operations of equipment are maintained.
  • Troubleshoots and problem solves to maintain a high standard of safety and production.
  • Conduct daily operational and equipment inspections.
  • Oversee daily operations for sorting/handling/processing of plant by-products.
  • Oversee the safe and efficient operation of employees assigned to operation.
  • Daily completion of waste-tracking forms and activity reports.
  • Professional interaction with supplier subcontractors working for Envita Solutions.
  • Professional interaction with ALL members of client's workforce.
  • Assist with implementation of new processes (including training/auditing of assigned employees).
  • Effective communication with both client and Envita team.
  • Provide assistance/education to client's employees on aspects of waste/reuse/recycling programs
  • Assist Program with MRO and business development opportunities (as assigned by manager).
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company's core values, competencies, and skills.

Education Qualifications

  • Required High School or Equivalent


Experience Qualifications

  • Preferred 1+ years Supervisor experience in a manufacturing/distribution/recycling facility


Skills and Abilities

  • This is a safety sensitive position.
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function.
  • Basic business writing and computer skills are necessary.
  • Must have strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) beneficial.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects/responsibilities for completion.
