Overview of Position:
Heiser Automotive Group in Sturgeon Bay is seeking to hire a Sales Manager with prior dealership and sales management experience. The ideal candidate will have a customer friendly attitude, computer skills, and be a self-starter and team player. The Sales Manager is responsible for supervising and motivating salespeople and promoting and encouraging strategies to sell new and pre-owned vehicles. They perform typical managerial duties such as organizing schedules, training, interviewing, hiring, and setting departmental goals

Responsibilities
  • Work directly with Sales team members and customers to help enhance the sales process and produce sales
  • Build rapport with customers to establish and maintain customer network
  • Work together with Management team to develop advertising campaigns
  • Achieve manufacturer performance objectives
  • Provide training and support to the Sales staff and assist in closing deals
  • Monitor Internet Leads
  • Desk deals and track gross logs and RDR vehicles
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Domestic experience a plus
  • Customer Satisfaction driven
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in an automotive sales department
  • Minimum 1+ year(s) automotive dealership experience
  • Minimum 1+ year(s) automotive management experience
  • Valid and clean WI Driver's License
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Internet experienced
  • Vin Solutions CRM capabilities a plus
  • Capable of taking ownership of a stable and experienced sales floor
  • Gross as well as volume capable
  • Must be able to work some evenings and Saturdays
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to function as part of a team and work independently
  • Willing to learn and take direction
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of a fast-paced work environment
