Job description

The position that is currently available is a full-time Senior Project Manager and Construction Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Project management and leadership for multiple projects and deliverables.
  • Coordination of tasks and deadlines with Project Managers.
  • Reviewing project budget and delivery schedule of the architectural team.
  • Guiding project staff in executing documents relative to project milestones.
  • Managing the project approval process with building management and the Department of Buildings.
  • Editing and executing construction drawings and corresponding documents.
  • Managing and responding to RFIs and submittals.
  • Interfacing heavily with clients and contractors.
  • Making site visits to check on project progress.
  • This position will be based in our Somerville, NJ office, with weekly travel to New York City to attend meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
  • 3+ years of progressive architectural experience
  • License not required
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Microsoft platform & programs
  • Working knowledge of SketchUp and Revit a plus
  • Strong visual awareness and an eye for detail
  • Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem solving
  • High level of organization and accuracy
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Experience in construction document preparation and field observation
  • Ability to represent the company in a positive and professional manner
  • Knowledge of NYC building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques
