Help shape the future of Krafton Montreal.

At Krafton Montreal, we're developing Project Windless, a bold new AAA action adventure based on one of Korea's most celebrated fantasy novel series.

Led by veteran game developers with a proven track record of creating successful AAA games, we've built a studio where transparency, engagement, pragmatism, and collaboration define how we work. Backed by Krafton, one of the world's leading game publishers, we combine the strength of a global organization with the agility and autonomy of a growing studio.

As we enter our next chapter, we're looking for an experienced Talent & Culture Manager to help shape our culture, support our people, and play a key role in how our studio continues to evolve.

Why Krafton Montreal?

Our Montreal studio is approaching 100 developers, yet we're still at a stage where every person can have a meaningful impact on how the studio grows and succeeds. This is a rare opportunity to help shape not only the employee experience, but also the culture of a growing AAA studio.

You'll join a team led by experienced developers who have spent their careers building successful AAA games. We believe the best studios are built by people who care deeply about what they create, take ownership of their work, and are driven by a shared ambition to build something exceptional.

We also believe that taking care of our people is essential. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, annual bonus, comprehensive health benefits, an industry leading retirement savings program, a flexible hybrid work model, and an environment where talented people are trusted and empowered to do their best work.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the Talent & Culture function for our Montreal studio.
  • Own the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through development and offboarding.
  • Lead full cycle recruitment across the studio, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire exceptional talent.
  • Support managers on performance management, employee relations, coaching, conflict resolution, and career development.
  • Manage payroll, employee benefits administration, compensation reviews, HR systems, and day to day HR operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Quebec and Canadian employment legislation and company policies.
  • Partner with our headquarters in South Korea to deliver global Talent & Culture initiatives while adapting them to our local reality.
  • Continuously improve our HR practices, employee experience, and ability to support a high performing studio culture.
  • This is a hybrid position requiring on site presence every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Monday and Friday may be worked remotely.

What Makes You Successful

  • You have 8 or more years of progressive HR experience, ideally leading the HR function within a studio or growing organization.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • You're highly self motivated, thrive on ownership, and enjoy turning ideas into action with minimal direction.
  • You're pragmatic, organized, and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands on execution.
  • You genuinely care about people and take pride in helping both employees and the studio succeed.
  • Experience in the video game industry is strongly preferred. Familiarity with the pace, culture, and realities of game development will help you succeed in this role.
  • You communicate confidently in both French and English. French is the primary working language within our Montreal studio, while English is used regularly with our headquarters and international colleagues.

 A Great Place to Work

Our downtown Montreal studio is easily accessible by metro, train, and public transit. Surrounded by cafes, restaurants, shops, and many of the city's festivals and events, it's a vibrant place to work, connect with colleagues, and enjoy everything downtown Montreal has to offer.
