Permanent | Urgent Care Physician | Auburn, AL

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Physician for a full-time permanent opportunity with a growing urgent care organization in Auburn, AL. This position offers a flexible 3-day work week, strong compensation and benefits, and the opportunity to practice independently in a fast-paced urgent care setting with strong clinical support.

Position Details:

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and episodic conditions
  • Perform urgent care procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, DOT physicals
  • Order, interpret, and review in-house laboratory testing and imaging studies
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
  • Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
  • Collaborate with clinic support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality outcomes

Practice Environment:

  • Fully equipped urgent care clinic with on-site diagnostics
  • Experity EMR system
  • Average patient volume of 3โ€“4 patients per hour
  • Structured clinical onboarding and orientation
  • Established workflows and clinical protocols
  • Access to clinical leadership and network resources
  • Primary provider on-site during shifts

Schedule:

  • Full-time schedule
  • Three 12-hour shifts weekly
  • Rotating weekends
  • No call responsibilities
  • Self-scheduling system with schedules published in advance

Requirements:

  • Medical License in Alabama
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 1 year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred
  • Will consider Family and General Surgery experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Patient-centered approach to care
