Substitute Student Sweeper
Description:

Works to maintain an attractive, sanitary and safe public school facility for students, staff and public; ensures that assigned tasks are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner.
Job Summary:
Called in as needed when regular sweeper is unavailable.
Cleans assigned facilities such as classrooms, hallways, and entrances for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive school environment.
Performs cleaning routines such as: Vacuuming carpet in classrooms, hallways, offices. Empty classroom, hallway and office trash cans and dispose into exterior receptacle. Sweep hallways, classrooms, and other areas. Mop floors in classrooms, hallways, and other areas.
Replenishes classroom and restroom supplies such as: soap and paper towels for the purpose of ensuring adequate quantities for daily use. Supports the custodial staff for the purpose of completing school custodial activities. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be at least 14 years of age and enrolled in school.
Must be able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
Have the ability to work Monday - Friday, 2 hours per day as scheduled.
Working Conditions:
Works in the school under the direct supervision of the Head Custodian, may take direction from Full Time Custodial Staff as needed.
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, stooping and kneeling, is required. Will operate job-related equipment.
