STUDENT SUPERVISOR
TIMES OF SHIFT: M-F
HOURS: 7 AM to 3 PM
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Ability to use discretion and good judgment
  2. Ability to be fair, friendly and consistent
  3. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with students and staff
  4. Knowledge and willingness to enforce school rules and regulations
  5. Ability to react constructively to unique and emergency situations

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Monitor student behavior and movement in hallways, cafeterias and locker rooms
  2. Check entrances and exits regularly
  3. Check bathrooms before school, after school and each hour during the school day
  4. Help direct visitors entering the school
  5. Escort students from their class as requested by Administrators
  6. Help direct students during fire alarms and lock downs

The superisor will be expected to perform such duties assigned by the Administrator in designed areas: hall locations, common areas, cafeteria, washrooms, locker rooms, outside areas and parking lots.
SUPERVISION
The Student Supervisors are under the supervision of the Assistant Principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
10-month. Salary and benefits to be established by the agreement between the Board of Education and the United Support Staff Council.
