Job description

Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to explore their passions and create their success!  Our school district is located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves approximately 4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany.  School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).
Position Description: The Student Success Coordinator supports the successful inclusion of all children by coaching staff in effective behavior strategies and reducing barriers to participation across school-age care and early childhood programs. This role is designed to strengthen staff capacity, improve student outcomes, and promote consistent, inclusive practices program-wide by building strong relationships with families and community support.
Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday 7:30am-4pm.
Requirements: Five years experience in school age care, preschool or related field Bachelors Degree in Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood or related field. Preferred Associates, Bachelors, or Child Care certifications
Compensation:  Salary and benefits are pursuant to the Community Education Supervisors and Coordinators Terms and Conditions of Employment starting at $57,601 - $70,314 depending upon qualifications.
