Job description

Navigator is seeking dedicated, passionate Special Education service providers who are driven to impact the lives of traditionally underserved students. The Student Services Coordinator will ensure top-quality Special Education services are provided to students with all types of learning differences by directly supporting the Student Services staff, ensuring compliance with requisite laws, and developing and growing Navigator’s full inclusion Special Education model.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and Valid California Education Specialist Credential Required
  • 3+ years of teaching experience working with diverse student populations
  • Excellent Communication Skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to use discretion and good judgment when dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • Knowledgeable of federal, state, and local special education laws and regulations
  • Graduate Degree a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
