The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Nature of Work:

The Research Assistant will support the scholarly activities of the Centre for International Policy Studies (CIPS).

Responsibilities include taking analytical notes during conferences and seminars, drafting reports and briefing notes, and supporting research content production. The assistant will also contribute to gathering and organizing relevant information and may assist with academic coordination with speakers as part of event intellectual preparation.

Qualifications:

Excellent writing and synthesis skills (French and English);

Strong analytical skills and ability to produce structured notes;

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks;

Interest in public policy and international issues.
