Work Environment

This full-time role allows for flexibility through remote work, tailored to accommodate the needs of our unique school clientele based in Eugene, Oregon. Regular business hours will frame your schedule, with occasional evening and weekend hours necessary for special events and programs, ensuring you can deliver services when clients need them most.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments to identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients, ensuring a tailored approach to each individual’s circumstances.
• Provide both individual and group counseling, applying evidence-based therapeutic strategies to foster healing and growth.
• Develop and implement personalized service plans that align with clients’ goals, actively engaging them in the process of their own empowerment.
• Act as an advocate for clients, ensuring their rights are acknowledged and facilitating access to necessary resources and services within the community.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of programs, ensuring effectiveness and alignment with our mission through grant submission and reporting.
• Collaborate with community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to enhance the breadth and quality of services provided.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to support continuous learning and community outreach initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families dealing with a variety of challenges, including mental health issues, trauma, and socio-economic barriers. You will provide vital support to marginalized populations within the school system, enabling students and families to access the assistance they need to thrive.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
• Strong interpersonal skills, alongside effective communication abilities, are essential for building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of social justice principles and a commitment to advocacy for the underserved is crucial.
• Organizational skills must be strong enough to manage multiple cases and responsibilities efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a nonprofit or educational setting is favored, particularly with schools or similar environments.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and community resources that support mental health and social services.
• Ability to engage in program development and understanding of grant management processes is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We are proud to offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
