Conscious Minds Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote role, primarily serving a school environment. Work Environment

This position is designed to be performed remotely, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while still engaging directly with students and educational staff. Typical working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, although there may be occasional requirements for evening or weekend hours based on student needs and availability. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment to students experiencing symptoms of major mental health disorders and emotional difficulties.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions focused on empowering students and fostering resilience.
  • Collaborate effectively with school personnel, parents, and other community resources to create comprehensive care plans tailored to each studentโ€™s unique needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical standards and organizational protocols.
  • Utilize telehealth technologies and other digital tools to enhance service delivery, ensuring timely access to mental health services.
  • Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and support each other's professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to support students within the local educational system, addressing a variety of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges. The successful candidate will be adept at engaging with youth of diverse backgrounds, incorporating cultural competencies into their practice to create a supportive and respectful therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Social Work (BSW) or a related field; a Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.
  • Current Illinois LCSW licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic methods, assessment procedures, and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and approachable manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, fostering the spirit of collaboration and shared goals.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably within school settings or with pediatric populations.

Compensation and Benefits
