Position Overview

Conscious Minds Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time role will primarily be remote, allowing you to manage your schedule while making a significant impact on the mental health of clients in our community. You will be involved in direct client care, assessment, and treatment planning, and providing crisis intervention for individuals experiencing severe emotional disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients experiencing major mental health issues, including the development of individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic services and interventions through various modalities, including individual counseling and group therapy sessions.
• Work collaboratively with other health professionals and community partners to coordinate care and services for your clients.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and treatment efficacy, utilizing organizational records and electronic health systems.
• Participate in clinical team meetings aimed at improving service delivery and patient care.
• Address any crises as they arise, demonstrating skilled crisis intervention abilities to ensure client safety.
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and integrate new approaches to enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will interact with come from diverse backgrounds and may face various challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to more severe mental health disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing their needs, empowering them, and fostering a path toward recovery. Understanding and respecting cultural differences will be paramount as you build therapeutic relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Illinois.
• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or closely related field.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and fellow team members.
• Strong organizational skills for handling caseloads and documentation.
• A commitment to professional ethics and adherence to the standards set forth by the organization and professional licensing bodies.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or social work setting, with a focus on crisis management and treatment planning.
• Experience working in community health environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and assessment tools commonly used in the field.

Compensation and Benefits
