Job Summary and Qualifications

POSITION is located in Kingwood, TX.

As the Multi- Modality Radiology Technologist, you will perform all radiological procedures. You will also routinely function in other areas of the imaging department, as needed. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and we are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!

What You Will Do In This Role:

* You will collaborate with physicians, physicists, nursing units and other disciplines in making decisions regarding each patient’s needs for care.

* You will move x- ray equipment into specified position and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time distance.

* You will perform imaging in multiple areas (diagnostic, OR, fluoroscopy, etc)

* You will assist the physician in diagnostic procedures.

* You will practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.

* You must be available to be onsite within 30 minutes of the call out when on call.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

* Education and training from an accredited radiology technology program or equivalent is required.

* A valid Texas Department of Health licensure as a Certified Medical Radiological Technologist in the state of Texas (CMRT) is required.

* A.R.R.T. is required after 12 months of hire.

* American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

* One year of previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.

* Orthopedic and Spine Patients

* Orthopedic & Spine X-Ray experience preferred.

* Casting experience preferred.
