Director of Advanced Cardiac Imaging | Affiliate Faculty Appointment (UNR Med)| Beautiful Lake Tahoe/Reno Area Practice

Renown Health, northern Nevada’s largest health system and the only not-for-profit, integrated health network in the Reno area, is seeking a Director of Advanced Cardiac Imaging to join our dynamic, physician-led multispecialty medical group. The ideal candidate will have completed a fellowship in Advanced Cardiac Imaging and have at least 2 years of practice experience. However, exceptional new graduates from an Advanced Cardiac Imaging fellowship will be considered. Based in Reno, NV, Renown Health serves a population of over 1 million patients across the northern Nevada, Lake Tahoe, and northeast California region and is the only Level II trauma and ECMO capable center between Salt Lake City and Sacramento. The Renown Institute for Heart and Vascular Health (RIHVH) is the premier cardiology practice in northern Nevada and the only program in the region that provides access to a full suite of advanced valvular procedures, complex coronary artery interventions, and mechanical/extracorporeal circulatory support. Affiliated with the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine, RIHVH also offers opportunities for medical student/resident teaching, participation in cutting-edge clinical trials, and other scholarly activities. This position includes an Affiliate Faculty Appointment with UNR Med as part of Nevada’s first integrated academic health system.

This integrated academic environment enhances opportunities for teaching, mentorship, clinical trials, and collaborative scholarship within RIHVH.

At RIHVH, you can expect a highly supportive and stable leadership team that is committed to maintaining patient-centered care while providing a sustainable work/life balance. Located just 25 minutes from the closest ski area and 35 minutes from the shores of majestic Lake Tahoe, Reno offers a mild 4-season climate with over 300 days of sunshine. Access to endless outdoor activities, including skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and fishing, is just steps away from a bustling and walkable midtown/downtown district. As a growing tech center, the “Biggest Little City,” has the culinary diversity and nightlife of a larger city without the traffic or the taxes. An expanding international airport provides easy access to nearly most major airports and spectacular destinations like Napa Valley, Yosemite National Park, and the Black Rock Desert are less than a 3-hour drive away.
