Job Description:
Summary:
The program assistant assists the Director in the administration of the program, including overall program planning, organizing and running events, supporting students in the program and facilitating the recruitment and admissions process.
Essential Functions:
  • Scheduling, organizing and hosting SPA Honors Program events and activities.
  • Communicating with faculty, staff and students within the School of Public Affairs regarding program admission and events.
  • Facilitating the recruitment and admissions process.
  • Communicating about the program and its events and opportunities via social media.
  • supporting SPA Honors students and answering questions.
  • Anticipating and planning for program needs in coming semesters.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
  • Part-time.
  • 4 hours per week.
Salary Range:
  • $18.40 per hour.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Must be an SPA Honors student with at least 1 year of experience in the program.
  • 60 credit hours required.
