Supporting students with toileting & feeding needs; some students may require physical transfers; supporting instruction and implementing programs/lesson plans created by the special education teacher; escorting students to and from pick up/drop off locations during arrival and dismissal; supporting behavior plans as directed by BCBA and/or classroom teacher.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. High school diploma required with associates degree or higher preferred
  2. Experience working with children/students
  3. Experience assisting in program implementation
  4. Ability to work with professional staff
  5. Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Support students with disabilities in inclusive and substantially separate settings
  2. Needs to assist with a behavior plan implementation
  3. Provide academic support as needed
  4. May need to support feeding and toileting need
  5. Monitoring for attention, work completion and social navigation
  6. Perform duties as assigned by school administration
  7. Other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher
