Description
The Part-Time Student Planning Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the academic success of students by accurately and efficiently loading student academic plans into the university's student information system. This position is essential for ensuring that students have clear and accessible academic pathways, ultimately contributing to improved retention and graduation rates.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accurately and timely input student academic plans into the university's student information system, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of student academic plans, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
  • Provide assistance to students and academic advisors in understanding and navigating the academic planning process.
  • Assist in data analysis related to student academic planning trends and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations.
  • Perform general administrative duties as needed, such as filing, data entry, and report generation.

OVERALL PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITY:
The primary and most important overall responsibility of all employees is to provide service in a pleasant, helpful, and effective manner to our students and other members of the College community.

Education Required:
Associates Degree
Experience:
Previous professional experience in an educational environment or administrative role is preferred, but not required.
