Job description

Student Outreach Specialist
The Student Outreach Specialist will play a key role in supporting high school students on their journey to college and career success. The member will serve as a bridge between students and critical resources, ensuring they are informed, engaged, and supported through every step of the college application process.
Member Duties : The Student Outreach Coordinator will actively engage students through phone calls, texts, emails, and in-person conversations to encourage participation in workshops, events, and mentoring opportunities. They will share timely reminders about important deadlines for college applications, financial aid, and scholarships, while also providing one-on-one and group support to guide students through applications, FAFSA, and other postsecondary planning steps. The member will track student engagement, follow up with those needing extra encouragement, and assist in planning and facilitating workshops on college readiness, financial literacy, and career exploration. In collaboration with staff, they will help design outreach strategies to boost student involvement and will serve as a positive, approachable resource for students as they transition from high school to their next chapter.
