Job description

This position is ideal for students or early-career marketing and communications professionals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
As a Student Worker Marketing & Communications, you will support the local marketing team in executing communication strategies, managing content, and supporting campaigns and events.
Partnering with cross-functional teams, you'll contribute to engaging marketing initiatives, strengthen brand visibility, and help ensure consistent communication across channels.
This role is an excellent opportunity to develop practical marketing skills while contributing to impactful business activities
6 months contract
  • Support the marketing team in developing and maintaining the communications calendar, ensuring alignment and consistency across internal and external messaging.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices that support local marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in the planning, creation, and scheduling of social media content to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.
  • Develop and update marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, and digital assets in line with brand guidelines.
  • Manage and update website content through the CMS, including landing pages, blogs, and general website copy.
  • Support translation and localization efforts between Dutch and English to ensure accurate and culturally relevant communication.
  • Contribute ideas and support the creation of campaigns, product launches, local activations, and event communications.
  • Maintain and organize the marketing asset library and inventory to ensure efficient access to materials and resources.
  • Provide logistical and promotional support during events, meetings, and local activations.
  • Monitor and report on campaign and social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field.

Experience:
Previous internship, extracurricular, or student experience in marketing, communications, social media, or event support is a plus.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with social media platforms, Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CMS tools is an advantage.

Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Teamwork: Proactive, teamplayer, and eager to learn in a fast-paced team environment.
