As a member of our production team, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting the creation and distribution of diploma frames to help our customers celebrate some of their greatest achievements. While you’ll lean heavily on your abilities, your greatest asset will be your drive and commitment to quality and safety. We live and work in a team environment and rely heavily on each other to assist across a variety of functions. Flexibility and a willingness to jump right in to help the team are crucial to the success in this role. If you have a strong attention to detail, we want you! 

What We Want You to Accomplish: 

First 30 Days: 

  • Read work orders to determine specifications and efficiently follow production workflow to produce high volume of work. 

  • Gain knowledge of product materials and respective requirements to produce optimal quality projects.  

  • Operate a variety of finishing equipment, including cutters and bindery (glue) guns. 

  • Meet or exceed daily production goals.  Ensure that all work produced in accordance with the job ticket and customer’s quality expectations. 

  • Approach everything you do with a quality mindset and adhere to a defined maximum scrap rate on items produced. 

  • Partner with Production Lead(s) for timely processing and be flexible to perform other duties as assigned. 

First 60 days: 

  • Assemble up to 300 mats per day with little supervision accurately. 

  • Become familiar with library and have a clear understanding of scheduling. 

First 90 Days: 

  • Assemble 350 to 500 mats per day of various difficulty levels proficiently with appropriate licensing with little to no supervision. 

  • Have a clear understanding of the coding system 

  • Be able to restock appropriate supplies 

What You Will Do On A Daily Basis: 

  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment. 

  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to multitask. 

  • Perform all assigned work effectively and on schedule. 

  • Record any quality or scrap issues. 

  • Notify management of any safety concerns or quality issues. 

  • Team player and do what it takes attitude when other duties are assigned based on business demand. 

What You Will Bring the Table: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required. 

  • Basic math skills and computer literacy. 

  • Previous success in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. 

  • Demonstrated success in going above and beyond to help the team achieve a goal. 

  • Previous success maintaining a strong attendance and on time record. 

  • Proficiently read a ruler. 

Physical Activities: 

Daily activity includes but is not limited to: 

  • Lifting, carrying, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting. 

  • Reading, communication, simple math. 

  • Be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs. 

  • Climb stairs 

  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate.
