Job description

Technical Services Student Assistantย 

Duties of the Positionย 

ย Assists with library projects and departmental tasks, including online database maintenance projects, searching for and/or pulling materials, working with spreadsheets, moving equipment, books, book carts, or boxes, and special projects.ย ย 

This position reports to the Director of Technical Services and does not offer evening or weekend hours.ย 

Skills Required for This Positionย 

  • Must be self-motivated and able to keep up with ongoing projects.ย 

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, students, and other library patrons.ย 

  • Must maintain a set schedule.ย 

  • Requires minimal to moderate physical demands, including moving loaded book carts or dollies, standing on step stools, and stooping or sitting on the floor.ย
