Job description

Students in this position assist in the operation of athletic events.
May be eligble for Federal Work Study.
Students in this position perform duties essential to operation of sporting events. Duties to include are: ball handlers for soccer & volleyball, ticket sellers, ushers, concession workers, set up before a game, break down after a game and other duties as needed by game day manager. Duties begin one hour before game time and conclude approximately 30 minutes after conclusion of game. Timeliness is a must since games depend on jobs to be completed and positions manned by start of game. Student must be aware of weather conditions, as outdoor games are played rain or shine.
