Job description

Description:Position Summary

The Food & Beverage Supervisor oversees daily dining and bar operations, leads front-of-house service staff, and ensures an exceptional member experience across all club venues. This entry-level supervisory role is aligned with the CMAA competency framework and designed as a growth pathway into private club F&B management.


Key Responsibilities

ยท Supervise daily F&B service across all dining outlets; conduct pre-shift meetings and ensure quality, timing, and presentation standards

ยท Manage bar operations including responsible alcohol service, inventory accuracy, and liquor regulation compliance

ยท Serve as the primary floor presence during service; handle member requests, complaints, and dietary accommodations

ยท Recruit, train, schedule, and coach F&B staff (servers, bartenders, bussers, food runners)

ยท Track labor costs, conduct beverage inventories, process daily revenue reports, and reconcile POS transactions

ยท Coordinate F&B logistics for club events, tournaments, and banquets including BEO execution and vendor communication

ยท Enforce food safety (ServSafe), health department regulations, and OSHA workplace safety standards

ยท Maintain dining facilities, equipment, and storage areas to club standards; report maintenance needs promptly

Requirements:

Required: Associateโ€™s degree (or equivalent experience) in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field; 1+ year F&B experience; ServSafe and alcohol service certification (or within 30 days of hire); POS proficiency; flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; must be 21+.

Preferred: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Hospitality Management; private club experience; CMAA student membership; club management software knowledge (Jonas, Northstar, ClubEssential); wine certification (CMS/WSET); bilingual (English/Spanish
