Yes Posting Number ST001035 Position Title Student Worker, Center for Global Education Department Center for Global Education Division Academic Affairs Supervisor Ashley Orihara Supervisor Title Associate Director, Center for Global Education, International Student and Scholar Services Description of Job Duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Create marketing materials for study abroad programs, English Language Institute programs, and International Student Services and Scholar events
  • Greet all Center for Global Education (CGE) visitors in person in a professional manner
  • Answer and route calls to CGE staff
  • File documents electronically
  • Correspond with students in need of appointments with Study Abroad and International Student Services
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of events across campus including the Study Abroad Fair, CDCA Fairs, etc.
  • General office duties concerning all CGE stakeholders such as filing, creating mailing labels, copying, and updating all international student, ELI student, study abroad student files as needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Enter student data in database
  • Serve as a Unibuddy Ambassador

Required:
  • Must be enrolled at NCC as a full-time undergraduate student
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently
  • Ability to communicate with staff, faculty, students, and community members in a clear, professional, and friendly manner
  • Ability to problem solve and use critical thinking skills
  • Basic computer skills including Excel, Publisher, Outlook, or other design software (Canva)
  • Ability to work in student database and enter data with minimal error
  • Comfortable working with data and completing office processes using the computer and copier/printer
Preferred:
  • Sophomore or Junior standing
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Will this position be working with minors? No Approximate number of work hours per week 10-15 per week for 2026-27 academic year
