About Us
Georgia Highlands College is a multi-campus, state college member of the University System of Georgia. Founded in 1970 as Floyd Junior College, it now serves more than 6,000 students in Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama across its five locations in Rome, Cartersville, Marietta, and Dallas. Job Summary
The Athletics Student Assistant will support the Athletics department.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the athletic director and/or coaches for duties assigned to game day and practice operations
  • Provide 19 hours per week as needed to department and/or teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned as related to the athletics department

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent and current GHC undergraduate student with:¿
    • Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) currently being met¿
    • Current-Year FAFSA on file with all verifications and any other requirements complete¿
    • Currently enrolled for at least six (6) credit hours (in most instances)¿
  • Some prior experience is preferred but not required.¿ Job specific training will be provided.¿
