Proposed Minimum Salary: Commensurate

Job Location: Weslaco, Texas

Job Type: Student Worker

Job Description:

The Student Assistant position helps the District 12 Administrative staff on a daily and weekly basis serving as an additional support to the District 12 office.

Responsibilities
  • Provides general support for District 12 Administration staff.
  • Completes weekly and daily duties as set forth by the Senior Administrative Coordinator.
  • Multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Greets visitors, answers and screens calls, provides information and referrals, and schedules appointments. Receives, sorts, and routes mail and performs other mail services.
  • Performs data entry/retrieval functions.
  • Assists with Web site maintenance.
  • Vehicle fleet support - Facilitates the following: cleaning exterior/interior of vehicles, monitor regular fleet services such as oil changes and inspections (onsite or off-sourced).
  • Performs additional duties as assigned as part of the Student Assistant job responsibilities.
  • Must have the ability to work cooperatively with others.
