Job Summary/Basic Function
Interns will assist the Byrd Center Archivist and the Shepherd University Archivist in processing and cataloging archival materials of various materials, including papers, photographs, artifacts, and digital. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, rehousing, scanning, conservation, and documenting. This job requests attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to complete tasks with minimum direct supervision. Basic computer skills a must.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Federal Work Study Eligible

Preferred Qualifications
Interest or concentration in history, librarianship, or political science; or previous work experience in cultural resource setting.
