The Supply Chain Intern will support the Supply Chain and Project teams with procurement, materials management, and supplier coordination activities related to Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. This internship is designed for a college student seeking practical experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics within a fast-paced, project-based environment. The intern will gain exposure to supplier sourcing, purchase order administration, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

 
  • Assist with tracking and supporting project and procurement schedules
  • Support the creation and maintenance of bidder and supplier lists under guidance from the Procurement Manager and Project Manager
  • Help organize and distribute Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and collect vendor responses
  • Assist with the review and comparison of vendor quotes and proposals, including basic data entry and bid tabulation
  • Coordinate with engineering and project teams to help gather technical and commercial information related to materials and equipment
  • Support the preparation and organization of purchase orders, subcontracts, and related documentation
  • Maintain procurement and supplier tracking logs and Procurement Status Reports (PSRs)
  • Assist with validating equipment and material quantities from engineering drawings and organizing data in spreadsheets
  • Help track material deliveries and support issue resolution related to shortages, damages, or missing items
  • Maintain positive, professional communication with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Adhere to internal procurement policies, procedures, and documentation standards
  • Support special projects and perform other related duties as assigned

 
  • Interest in supply chain, procurement, or EPC project environments
  • Basic understanding of purchasing, logistics, or materials management concepts
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Good time-management and prioritization skills
  • Professional, customer-service-oriented mindset
