- Prepare and distribute accommodation notifications and ensure timely communication with faculty and program staff.
- Coordinate testing accommodations, including scheduling, proctor coordination, secure exam administration, and adherence to testing protocols.
- Maintain accurate and confidential accommodation records in accordance with FERPA, ADA, and institutional policies.
- Monitor accommodation implementation and address concerns that arise throughout the academic experience.
Faculty and Program Collaboration
- Partner with faculty, program offices, and academic operations teams to ensure consistent implementation of accommodations across in-person, hybrid, and online learning environments.
- Provide guidance regarding accessibility practices while maintaining academic standards and program integrity.
- Support effective resolution of accommodation-related concerns through proactive communication and partnership.
Student Support and Case Management
- Provide individualized guidance regarding accommodation processes, expectations, and available resources.
- Respond promptly to student concerns, questions, and accommodation-related requests.
- Connect students with University resources, including the Student Disability Access Office and other support services, when appropriate.
- Handle sensitive information with professionalism, empathy, discretion, and confidentiality.
Education and Outreach
- Assist with the development and delivery of educational materials related to accommodations, accessibility, and inclusive practices.
- Support new student orientations, faculty development sessions, and informational workshops.
- Develop and maintain accessible online resources that clearly communicate accommodation procedures and expectations.
- Promote awareness of accessibility best practices throughout the Fuqua community.
Process Improvement and General Support
- Support the Director of Academic Integrity and Access in evaluating and enhancing accommodation policies, procedures, and operational practices.
- Track accommodation activity and analyze trends to inform process improvements and service enhancements.
- Stay informed regarding federal and state regulations, higher education guidance, and emerging best practices in disability services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
