Operating Room - RN Circulator

Operating Room - RN Circulator

Location: Globe, Arizona

Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5

Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension

Pay Rate: $68 - $74/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring an OR for a temporary assignment in Globe, Arizona. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a OR:

• Handle approximately 120 surgical cases per month

• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across multiple surgical specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Total Joints, Podiatry, OBGYN (including C-sections), Endoscopy, Neurosurgery, Robotics, ENT, and Cataracts

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience required

• Neurosurgery experience preferred

• Operate and assist with specialty equipment including Hana Tables, Stryker, Arthrex, and Medacta systems

• Work Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM

• Fulfill 7 to 10 days of call per month, with call hours from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, including weekends

• Comply with flu vaccine requirement; no exceptions

• Adhere to the 100-mile radius rule; candidates with a permanent address within 100 miles of the facility will not be accepted

• Limit time-off requests to no more than 3 days per 13-week contract

• Understand and accept that the facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment without guaranteed hours applying
