As a Stryker RN, your daily responsibilities often include providing clinical education on Stryker medical devices, supporting surgical teams during procedures, and troubleshooting equipment in real time. You'll collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff to ensure devices are used safely and effectively, and may also participate in in-servicing and training sessions. In addition to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies, you'll help bridge communication between Stryker representatives and healthcare facilities. This hands-on, dynamic role offers the chance to develop advanced technical skills and play a key part in enhancing patient care outcomes.
To thrive as a Stryker RN, you need a current registered nurse (RN) license, strong clinical skills, and a solid understanding of surgical or medical equipment, typically within an orthopedic or surgical setting. Familiarity with Stryker products, medical device protocols, and possibly specialized certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are often required. Exceptional communication, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability are key soft skills for educating staff, supporting surgical teams, and handling high-pressure situations.
