Job description

Work Flexibility: Onsite

Schedule: Mon - Fri; 6:00am - 2:30pm, OT as needed

What You Will Do:

As a Process Development Specialist in Advanced Operations, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for new products and technologies. Working closely with Engineering and Operations teams, you will support process development activities from concept through production launch while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Support the development, documentation, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Assist with new product introductions by executing process development activities in accordance with Stryker procedures.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, manufacturing specifications, and process-related records.
  • Develop and execute CNC, CAD/CAM, CMM, and other manufacturing process programming activities as required.
  • Support equipment installation, qualification, validation, and process verification activities.
  • Partner with Engineers to execute Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Inspection (DFI), and Design Review activities.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing and process-related issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Train and support production team members on new processes, equipment, and methods.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate technical recommendations and project updates with cross-functional stakeholders.

What You Need:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant machining experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Experience setting up manufacturing equipment and running production prototype builds.
  • Experience with CNC Machining, CAD/CAM, CMM programming, or related manufacturing technologies.

Preferred:

  • 8+ years of manufacturing, process development, engineering technician, or related experience.
  • Technical degree, certification, and equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting process validation, qualification, and equipment installation activities.
  • Experience within medical device, FDA-regulated, or similarly regulated manufacturing environment.

$31.92 - $44.88 USD Hourly, plus bonus eligible and benefits.
