Job description

Join our team as a Structures Technician specializing in avionics modifications on 2nd shift. In this role, you'll contribute to maintaining and upgrading customer aircraft, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all work performed. You'll leverage your skills to troubleshoot, repair, and modify structural components while adhering to industry regulations and company standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft. Fabricate or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts. Conduct minor structural repairs on composite components (attached or detached). Assist in hidden damage inspections and complex structural repairs on or off aircraft. Perform aircraft component repairs and assist with removals/installations as required. Document work performed in compliance with manuals and regulations. Operate ground support equipment (GSE) and assist in towing aircraft as needed. Participate in 5-S activities and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Comply with all environmental health and safety policies and procedures. Support maintenance activities at off-site locations, including unscheduled overtime and holiday work when required. Collaborate with other disciplines for maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in structural sheet metal repair/modification or substantiated similar experience. Proficiency in interpreting mechanical engineering drawings. Effective written and verbal communication skills to report on individual or aircraft status. Ownership of a basic set of hand tools, with demonstrated inventory and control of tools. Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required. Eligible to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, if applicable. Basic PC skills required; A&P Certification or Repairman Certificate preferred.
