What You’ll Do

As a Structures Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining, repairing, and modifying aircraft structures to the highest aviation standards. You’ll bring strong technical skills, a commitment to quality, and pride in craftsmanship to every project.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural maintenance, modifications, and repairs on aircraft in compliance with aviation standards.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, repair manuals, and process sheets.
  • Assemble and install parts or complete repairs using structural fasteners.
  • Diagnose and apply appropriate repairs from structural repair manuals.
  • Treat and prevent corrosion, apply sealants, and ensure proper protection standards are met.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and properly use measuring tools and shop equipment.
  • Keep accurate work records and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and a strong work ethic.
  • Travel as needed to support operations in and outside of the United States.


What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive structural maintenance experience.
  • A&P (S) license preferred.
  • Completion of an approved training course (ICS accepted).
  • Strong skills in interpreting manuals, technical drawings, and standards.
  • Excellent hand skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety focused.
  • Must be local to Thermal, CA, or willing to relocate.
