Job description

Debt Settlement Sales Consultant | Hybrid

About the Role: We're seeking experienced debt settlement professionals to join our consumer finance team. This is a performance-based sales role working with pre-qualified inbound leads who have requested debt relief consultations.

Work Environment: Hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in office (Irvine location) and remaining days remote. Flexible scheduling based on performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial assessments with qualified prospects via phone
  • Present debt settlement program options in compliance with FDCPA regulations
  • Educate clients on debt relief alternatives including pros/cons of each option
  • Complete enrollment documentation and ensure program understanding
  • Maintain detailed CRM records of all client interactions
  • Meet weekly performance benchmarks (minimum 5 enrollments/week)

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years proven experience in debt settlement, debt relief, or consumer finance sales
  • Demonstrated track record of consistent monthly enrollments
  • Strong knowledge of debt settlement regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport quickly
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales automation tools
  • Professional home office setup for remote work days

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous work with high-volume call centers or lead transfer operations
  • Familiarity with objection handling in financial services
  • Background in consumer credit counseling or debt negotiation

Compensation Structure:

  • Base draw: $2,500/month ($1,250 bi-weekly)
  • Average commission per deal: $300-$500 depending on program size
  • Estimated annual earnings for top performers: $120K-$250K+
  • Bi-weekly commission payouts on funded accounts
  • No commission caps
