Crossbow Systems Ltd. is seeking responsible and motivated people to join our team full-time as Lead Cable Technicians. Our Lead Cable Technicians manage an assistant or team of technicians on assigned projects. This position offers an hourly rate between $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications, and offers a variety of excellent benefits including:

Based in the Columbus, OH area, Crossbow Systems is a design and installation services company. We excel in voice and data-structured cabling design and installation, and our experience is what sets us apart. We offer solutions to our clients that are innovative and cost effective. We also utilize our well-developed business relationships to provide services in the various other areas that our customers desire.

Primary responsibilities include Cat5e and Cat6 copper and fiber optics-structured cable installation and terminations. Installations include technology rooms, structured cable management and dress work, wireless access points, audio-visual, digital cameras, and other related technology equipment.

We are searching for team members with an attitude to lead, get the job done, be responsible, and grow with the company.

Skills we are looking for:

  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
  • Skilled with indoor and outdoor fiber optic fusion splicing.
  • Knowledge of testing practices including OTDR, Power Meter, and Copper.
  • Audio Visual and Security cabling and installation experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA).
  • Can neatly dress and terminate bundles of cables inside ERs and TRs.
  • Can build out racks and ladder racks in ERs and TRs.
  • Knowledge of grounding and bonding.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience installing conduit a plus.
  • OSHA 10 Card required.
  • High school diploma/GED preferred.

BICSI Level 2 certification and Microsoft Office experience are preferred.
