Job Summary

In this role, you will lead small to mid-size structured cabling projects, managing teams of up to eightย techniciansย and ensuring high-quality installation of voice, data, and fiber optic systems. Responsibilities include installing,ย terminating, testing, and labeling CAT6/CAT6A and fiber cabling, as well as supporting access control, CCTV, and audiovisual systems. You will also interpret blueprints, install network infrastructure (racks, patch panels, MDF/IDF), andย maintainย a strong commitment to jobsite safety while working at heights. #miller #LI-JJ1

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead small to mid-size projects consisting of teams up to 8 techniciansย 
  • Pull,ย terminate, dress, and label CAT6/CAT6A cableย 
  • Pull,ย terminate, dress, and label Fiber Optic cablingย 
  • Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)ย 
  • Punch down voice and data jacksย 
  • Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.ย 
  • Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)ย 
  • Read and interpret blueprints/system layoutsย 
  • Install/support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systemsย 
Qualifications
  • 5+ years field commercial/industrial low voltageย (Voice & Data)ย experienceย 
  • 5+ย years field experienceย with structured cablingย 
  • BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plusย 
  • 5+ years field experience inย telecom/data networksย 
  • Willingness to travel to job sites and work different shifts as neededย
