Job description

A busy engineering firm located in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to join their team. Duties include: performing code research & generate engineering calculations for structural design of various concrete & steel structures; performing structural analysis w/ the aid of finite element analysis programs; reviewing project documents & supervise other engineers & drafting staff; designing gravity load framing systems & supporting foundations & develop structural drawings; reviewing & evaluate contractor bids for owner consideration. Job Requirements: MS in Civil or Structural Engineering: Strong knowledge & understanding of the principles of civil & structural engineering; Strong understanding & practical knowledge of the following codes & specifications: ACI 318, ASCE 7, AISC 341, & the AISC Steel Construction Manual. Exp. w/ the following skills is preferred: MATHCAD, AUTOCAD, SAP2000, and GTSTRUDL.
