We are seeking a Structural Group Leaderto join our growing team. The position ishybridand ideal candidates would be located in (or willing to relocate to) PA, OH, or OR. This person will be responsible for research, design calculations and coordination of project specifications with support from a staff of technical personnel including other engineers. What You'll Do:

Group Leadership

Lead and grow the Structural Group by delivering highquality engineering services and efficient business operations.

Manage and balance project workloads, staffing, and resources to achieve scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

Mentor, supervise, and motivate staff, fostering professional growth, collaboration, accountability, and a strong safety culture.

Communicate proactively and effectively with management, peers, and clients.

Serve as a project and technical leader for structural engineering and infrastructure projects from planning and design through permitting and delivery.

Lead project strategy, scopes of work, and budgets, and actively manage project financials including schedules, budgets, WIP, AR, and risk.

Maintain overall project quality consistent with company standards, professional requirements, and client expectations.

Collaborate across disciplines and offices to deliver integrated solutions and consistent work products.

Engage with regulators and stakeholders, applying sound judgment and regulatory expertise.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships; support business development, selling, and crossselling across complementary service lines, including Civil, Survey, Geotechnical, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Reality Capture, Sustainability, and EH&S.

Represent Verdantas in client interviews, presentations, and key pursuit activities.

Build Verdantas' market presence through industry involvement, professional networking, and thought leadership.

Maintain the integrity and growth of the opportunity pipeline for the area.

Technical Work

Perform structural engineering design, analysis, planning, and modeling for a variety of infrastructure projects.

Prepare design calculations, quantity estimates, and technical documentation to support constructionready plans.

Conduct technical research as needed and communicate findings to support project decisions.

Use industrystandard engineering and design software, including CADD and Revit, to develop and review design documents.

Direct and coordinate drafting and technical staff in the preparation of working drawings.

Review technical work products, identify issues or risks, and communicate proactively with project managers and senior engineers.

Prepare and contribute to technical reports and deliverables.

Support client communication related to technical scope, design progress, and project execution.

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in structural engineering from an accredited four-year college or university

PE license required, NCEES Preferred

Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial/industrial building structural design in a consulting environment

Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a diverse set of projects

Familiarity with design requirements for Building and Structural Design Codes

Working knowledge of STAAD and RAM structural software

Experience with Revit a plus

Strong written and verbal communication skills

The minimum salary for this position is $130,000 (negotiable based on the criteria presented above).
