AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Nature of work:

The student will support a research project examining the design of green procurement policies across Canada and their effects on firm-level innovation outcomes. The student will perform the following tasks: Data collection, entry, and cleaning. Producing descriptive graphs and figures. Assisting with regression analysis. Organizing and verifying program code and raw data files. Assisting with the preparation of replication packages. Assisting with formatting and copy-editing research manuscripts.

Qualifications:

Prior graduate-level training in natural resources management, environmental policy, environmental governance, or environmental economics. Strong quantitative research skills, including fluency in R and/or Stata programming language. Working knowledge of Excel and of SQL is an asset. Interest in learning and applying computational approaches for policy text analysis. Interest in learning about the field of policy process/policy design. Interest in learning about the field of green innovation policy.
