Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and talented entry level Structural Engineer 1 to join our dynamic team. This role will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to design, develop, and implement structural engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with limited experience to gain handsโ€‘on experience and grow their career in a supportive and professional environment. This position in located in Seattle, WA.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, design, and execution of structural engineering projects working in steel, concrete, and mass timber.
  • Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess project requirements.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Perform calculations and analyses to support project designs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
