Description Salary range is $108,200-$135,250 per year Purpose of Position Provide project management leadership for the planning, design, and implementation of capital improvement projects across the company. Manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring objectives related to safety, quality, budget, schedule, and operational performance are achieved. Serve as a technical resource and consultant to production and support departments. Essential Job Functions Develop project scopes, cost estimates, engineering designs, specifications, and schedules to support management decisions and the successful execution of capital projects. Lead capital projects through all phases, including concept development, design, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project closeout. Coordinate and direct internal and external resources, including contractors, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional teams, to ensure project objectives are achieved. Manage project budgets and expenditures within approved capital authorizations and provide ongoing project cost reporting. Monitor project schedules, identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure timely completion of projects. Review and direct engineering designs leading to construction and permit drawings in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of project design and execution and promote a strong safety culture throughout project activities. Provide technical consultation and engineering support to production, maintenance, and operational teams. Prepare and present project updates, recommendations, and performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Agricultural, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline required. Five to ten years of progressive experience in plant engineering, project engineering, or capital project management within a manufacturing environment; food processing experience preferred. Demonstrated experience managing capital projects from conception through implementation. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Knowledge of applicable building, electrical, fire, environmental, and safety regulations, including UBC, APCD, NEC, OSHA, and USDA requirements. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, and procurement activities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and other project management and engineering software. Ability to travel is required.
