Structural Bridge Engineer | Providence, RI | Hybrid

Utilize state-of-the-art tools and technologies to design and develop digital models of bridges, contributing to transformative infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform structural modeling and design of highway, pedestrian and railroad bridges and other structures
  • Create plans and digital models of the bridges and highway bridge approaches
  • Perform bridge inspections
  • Develop construction cost estimates
  • Prepare contract documents
  • Review fabrication drawings and provide construction plan reviews

Skills and Attributes
  • Strong technical skills in bridge/structural design
  • Experience developing design reports, plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and commitment to learning

Qualifications

  • PE license required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Successful completion of NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges training a plus
  • Familiarity with structural modeling/engineering software is a plus

The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00-$120,000.00. This offer is determined based on several job-related factors including internal comparators, skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, and geographic location.
